Yellow Advisory - Blowing Snow

Poor visibility in snow and blowing snow is expected in some locations. Hazard: Poor visibilities in blowing snow. Location: Portions of southern Saskatchewan. Timing: Beginning overnight Tuesday into Wednesday afternoon. Remarks: A strong cold front surging south through the province will give strong northwest winds with gusts as high as 80 km/h beginning overnight into Wednesday morning. These winds will combine with light snow to produce areas of poor visibility in blowing snow through the day. Conditions will improve by Wednesday evening. ### Travel will likely be hazardous due to near-zero visibility. Blowing snow advisories are issued when widespread poor visibility in blowing snow is expected. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
